Effective November 1, 2026 · This page is maintained by PPV (Prince Policy View) to explain how we handle information collected through princetokpah.com.

1. Who we are

PPV — Prince Policy View ("PPV," "we," "our," "us") is an independent workforce intelligence and policy research publication founded and edited by Prince S. Tokpah, MPA, PMP. This Privacy Policy applies to princetokpah.com and its subpaths (including /ppv), together the "Platform."

2. Information we collect

  • Information you provide. When you subscribe to our newsletter, submit the contact form, or create an authenticated account, you provide information such as your name, email address, organization, and the message content you send us.
  • Account and authentication data. For editors and administrators, we store account identifiers, role assignments, and sign-in metadata required to operate the internal dashboard.
  • Usage and device data. Our hosting and analytics providers may automatically log standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, referring URL, and pages viewed. This helps us measure readership and keep the Platform secure.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. We use a small number of first-party cookies and local storage keys required for authentication, session management, and preference storage.

3. How we use information

  • Publish, distribute, and improve PPV research and articles.
  • Send newsletters, publication announcements, and event notifications to subscribers who opt in.
  • Respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form.
  • Operate the editorial dashboard, enforce access controls, and prevent abuse.
  • Understand aggregate readership patterns to prioritize research topics.

4. Legal bases and your choices

Where required by law (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or comparable U.S. state privacy laws), we rely on your consent for marketing emails and on our legitimate interests for operating and securing the Platform.

  • Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any PPV email or by contacting us via the contact form.
  • Access, correction, or deletion. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
  • Do Not Track. We do not sell personal information and do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Platform, under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing services to PPV. Current categories of providers include:

  • Website hosting and content delivery.
  • Database, authentication, and email delivery infrastructure.
  • Image search and attribution (Unsplash) for editorial artwork.
  • Web analytics for aggregate readership measurement.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of PPV or others, or in connection with a business transfer.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Subscriber records are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Contact form messages are retained for editorial follow-up and audit history.

7. Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we handle, including access controls on the editorial dashboard and encrypted transport (HTTPS) for the Platform. No online service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

8. Children
